A little more about me

For more than 20 years, I've worked in the fascinating world of fashion as a collections manager in furniture and clothing for international brands in London and Switzerland.

In 2010, when we bought a house in need of extensive renovation, I discovered a real passion for interior design. Dynamic and curious by nature, I embarked on a course to become an interior designer, from which I graduated three years later.
three years later, winning an award for excellence for my final year's work.

A trip to Japan in 2015 awakened me to wabi-sabi, a principle based on the ability to sublimate the imperfect and return to simplicity. It's an art that I practice personally on a daily basis and apply to my various projects, whether they involve renovation, decoration or decluttering.

At the same time, people around me were asking me for advice on interior design. The word got around, word of mouth started to spread and one project followed another. Highly motivated and enriched by these lessons, I launched atelier interior design in 2016.

Swiss and French by birth, Catalan and Londoner by adoption, I draw my inspiration from the mix of genres. Playing with materials, colours and textures, I create made-to-measure atmospheres that reflect the spirit of the place and the people who live there.

"if you don't dare, you've already lost. Let's rejoice in all ambitious, even utopian projects, because things only move if we dream."

Testimonials

Our company called on Anne to decorate a room for an end-of-year party. Anne was very professional, as well as being available and contactable at all times from the beginning to the end of the project. She always listened carefully and the result exceeded our expectations. She was able to transform our party room into a magical venue in keeping with the theme we had requested. We look forward to working with her again.

Amélie

My wife and I called on Anne from atelier interior design when we bought our flat off-plan.

Thanks to her talents, we were able to ask ourselves the right questions and think about our future living spaces.

She also helped us with all the choices of materials, colours, etc.
Her attentiveness and advice were enormously helpful and reassuring.
Anne was the best choice we made for our flat.
Many thanks for your work.

I contacted atelier interior design after buying a flat in which I wanted to make some alterations and improvements. I wanted to be able to discuss my ideas with a professional who wouldn't be a prisoner of my preconceptions and who could offer me new perspectives.

As I'm very sensitive to images, I really appreciated being able to visualise the moods that emerged from the projects presented. atelier interior design sometimes confirmed my choices, but it also suggested options that I hadn't thought of and that fitted in perfectly with the style and atmosphere I wanted to give my flat. And I'm delighted with the result.

My partner and I had long dreamed of having a more beautiful and functional kitchen than the one we'd been cooking in for years. We gave Anne Denonin some very basic guidelines.

A wave of a magic wand later... well, above all a sympathetic ear, the ability to read between the lines to get the essential points across, professionalism in monitoring the site, and a great deal of know-how and creativity.... we finally had the dream space where we could cook with desire and pleasure and, from then on, cook more often and rediscover the taste for inviting friends home!

As our kitchen was finally all new and dapper, we also wanted to give the living room a bit more air, as it adjoins the (open) kitchen. Over the course of two or three discussions on the basics of de-cluttering without frustration, this led to a general unblocking of the need to keep unnecessary things... and the virus even spread to my cupboards and shelves. My flat is more airy and I feel like I can move around more easily.
